    Maha Guru Bumtsok is a religious observance held at the Tibetan Community Center and organised by the Nechung Foundation, running September 16–20. On this day, preliminary teachings and devotional services are performed to purify the space and prepare for it. All participants have chosen to attend, so the program is off-site for the full day.
